ANNOUNCEMENTS:

• 3rd period your homework was due Monday. It's now 2 days late. Please get it turned in
• 2nd peirod your homework is due TOMORROW. Be sure that you have completed the interview and answered the questions on the handout.
• Remember NO CELL PHONES IN CLASS
• There is still some of you who owe me a bunch of work, please get it turned in by tomorrow! Because I will be updating ALL GRADES over the holidays and so I can give you an accurate and updated report of where you stand in this class, once we return.

WARM-UP:

1. GET A CALCULATOR FROM THE PLASTIC BOX, SITTING IN FRONT OF THE CRATE WITH YOUR FOLDERS. YOU WILL NEED A CALCULATOR TODAY FOR CLASS.
2. update your time sheets
3. CHECK YOUR MAILBOX - All documents in your mailbox that are graded, need to be placed in your notebook. We will be referring to them again in the future. BE SURE TO READ THROUGH AND LOOK AT ALL THE DOCUMENTS IN YOUR MAILBOX!!
4. update your pay check stubs record sheet
5. UPDATE YOUR WEEKLY WORK SCHEDULE BLOG POST. It should be titled: Work Week #13
6. Be sure to get out something to write with. You will be taking notes today.

CLASS ACTIVITIES:

1. Review our class objectives
2. Begin "Paycheck Unit"
3. PowerPoint Presentation. You will be taking notes
4. Class discussions over terminology and paycheck related information
5. Guided practice: work sheets covering paycheck calculations
6. Indepentdent practice will be tomorrow over all concepts covered today.

YOU WILL TURN IN YOUR NOTES AND PRACTICE DOCUMENTS AT THE END OF THE PERIOD.
